Hi
My name is Jed and I am a guinea pig. I live with my person. I love to eat hay and carrots. I love it when my person cleans my cage. It makes me jump and leap for joy. I do not like to be picked up, it scares me but I do enjoy being held. My person tells me that I am real cute. I love to hide in my little wooden hut. It makes me feel safe and cozy.
Last week the water heater broke and leaked on the floor of the basement where I live. I am happy to say that it just created a little puddle in front of the furnace. A nice plumber came and put in a new one. Now it is nice and dry.

My person brought home a harness and leash this weekend, but I wiggled out before she got any crazy ideas! Can't she see I'm a home-body? No use wandering when I have a perfectly acceptable pigloo and hay rack. What's new with my buddy Jed?

I am doing well after returning home from my Memorial Day weekend visit with my aunt and her dog. My person just bought me a new bag of carrots today. Yum Yum. I love them when they are nice and crunchy, don't you?

I am glad my person has never gotten any crazy ideas about a harness and leash. I prefer to stay home too in the safety of my cage and hut. I also love my hay rack, besides carrots, I think hay is my favorite food. How about you? Do you have a favorite food?
